My daughter is 11. I asked her what she wanted for Christmas. Know what she told me?
PS2, DVD's a couple of Bratz dolls and Limbo Elmo.
Limbo Elmo? My 11 year old is reverting back to her toddler days...and apparently so are her friends. They all asked for Limbo, Tickle Me and Hokey Pokey Elmos as well.
Weird.
I think it's a bizarre request, but hey, its her gift. Then again, I am the one one who got a Talking Eeyore for Christmas two years ago. I refer to him as my "Executive Decision Maker":
"Hi Eeyore, got a minute for a question?"
"Go ahead, ask a question, if you want."
"Thanks..I'll be brief. Eeyore, should I submit a query to Entrepreneur magazine?"
"If I were you, I would..but since I'm me, I wouldn't."
"Great advice Eeyore! Thanks!"
"If its not too much trouble, can I get a hug?"
"Of course you can Eeyore!"
I think that was the same year I got Lincoln Logs...the BIG tin..I played with those things for weeks...til I built the perfect fort. It now graces the top shelf of my free-hanging shelves in my living room. I took pictures and everything.
Okay, so maybe Taylor wanting Limbo Elmo isn't that far-fetched. Must be the Peter Pan gene. I really hoped it would skip a generation...no such luck.
